Dedicated to empowering and advocating for their client’s health and wellness goals, Alliance Wellness Centers opened its first holistic wellness center at 831 Arbor Street Northeast in Concord in March. The practice that provides massage therapy, wellness coaching programs, customized personal training, thermography screening and yoga/fitness classes, is led by Chief Visionary Officer Mike Philippeaux, a Certified Success Coach and Certified Health Coach with more than 20 years of clinical experience in traditional healthcare before making his own transition to the natural wellness field five years ago.

Philippeaux’s background in health care includes his work as a Respiratory Therapist and in open heart surgery as a Clinical Perfusionist. The journey to work as a life/wellness coach started while obtaining a master’s degree in counseling in 2002 from the University of Bridgeport.

Yoga classes are held on Sundays at 6 p.m. and Stretch~Heal~Recover on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.

“We’re all living in a time where people are stressed, busy and overwhelmed, and our center is a place that will meet our client’s multiple needs,” says Philippeaux.
