Haas Wellness Center provides holistic wellness care in six areas: structural; electromagnetic; nutritional deficiencies or imbalances; allergies and sensitivities; emotional stress; and toxicity. The center offers a wide range of services that includes chiropractic care, spinal decompression therapy, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, Applied Kinesiology with 35 of years experience, cold laser therapy, color and sound therapy, detoxification procedures, nutritional testing, laboratory testing and biofeedback.

Owner Ken Haas is both a doctor of chiropractic and a certified chiropractic sports physician. He started in 1989 in Charlottesville, Virginia, and moved to North Carolina in 2001. He says, “Our practices focus is to help our patients reach their health potential by removing blockages or interferences to their physiology.” He employs two staff doctors and two support staff, as well as a massage therapist and a reflexologist on-site.

“We spend a great deal of time with each patient,” says Haas. “We offer a no-charge 15-minute consultation so that we can determine that our practice is right for new patients and to let them get a feel for our doctors and staff. Our new patient process involves an hour of examination and testing, as well as an hour of discussion to report to our patient the results of the exam and to go over lifestyle and dietary recommendations. Follow-up visits are usually a minimum of 30 minutes. Each patient gets the cell phone number of their treating doctor in case of emergency or even to ask questions between visits.”
