Karen Dunn, a Holistic Skincare Specialist and a practitioner of ayurvedic medicine, is now seeing clients on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Two Trees Acupuncture, in Charlotte. In assisting those looking for a more natural and holistic approach to skincare, she has been a licensed esthetician for more than 35 years.

Many skincare services don’t emphasize the whole-body approach that is possible through the ayurvedic perspective. The practice only uses Eminence skincare products, which are derived from biodynamic sources and always 100 percent organic, non-water-based, and are favored among skincare professionals.
