Kim DeLaney-Surratt, of My Green House CBD, in Concord, is issuing a call for potential event sponsors, vendors to showcase their products along with farmers and speakers to participate in the Carolinas Cannabis Convention, the first major trade show in the area to focus on hemp and CBD, on August 16 and 17 at the Renaissance Charlotte Suites Hotel, in Charlotte. The first day will focus on business-to-business and include learning how to get involved in the industry, and the next will be open to the public and feature educational presentations, meeting local hemp growers, finding CBD products and more.

An early bird savings of $200 off booth rentals will be in effect through April 10. Booths start at $800 and special pricing for nonprofit organizations is available.
