Celebrating Gastonia’s distinction of being Bee City USA at the fun, festive Beetopia with the wisdom, gifts and joy of all pollinators from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on June 22 at the Rotary Pavilion in the city’s downtown area. The family-friendly event, presented by the city of Gastonia and Keep Gastonia Beautiful, will include the “Beezebo,” an enclosed, real-living beehive.

Attendees will learn about pollinators and ways to help save them. In addition to expert speakers and hourly prize giveaways, there’ll also be exhibitors, crafts and activities for all ages.
