Kudos: Christine Roper
Christine Roper, MSPY, PYT, and the founder of Roper Physical Therapy, in Charlotte, earned the 2019 Women Business Owner award bestowed by the National Association of Women Business Owners Charlotte (NAWBO Charlotte). She opened her practice in 2003, offering individualized treatment plans incorporating myofascial release, and nine years later, she joined forces with her friend and colleague adding a medical-based, bio-mechanically sound yoga program to their services.
Roper and her dynamic team of therapists have found success in helping their patients heal and achieve better quality of life by combining their expertise in myofascial release, physical therapy and knowledge of medical-based yoga. She has been a guest speaker on these modalities at several colleges and universities. Roper is a committee member for the Gold Award Committee at Hornet’s Nest Girl Scouts and is a board member of the nonprofit organization Brave Step. She resides in Charlotte with her husband of 22 years and their three children.
