New Owners, Qoya Offered at Be Yoga Dilworth
Cara and Riley Truitt became the new owners of Be Yoga Dilworth in August. The studio, that received its fourth Best of the Best People's Choice Award for Best Yoga Studio from Charlotte Magazine earlier this year, reports it’s the first in the area to offer qoya, a mindful movement practice for women, at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays. The class is taught by Cara, a licensed instructor in the modality and former director of operations.
Based on the idea that through movement we remember our essence is wise, wild and free, qoya is movement as medicine; movement with meaning. Each themed 90-minute class is a combination of yoga, dance, feminine movement and community connection. There are no ability levels; it doesn't matter what it looks like and there is no way one can do it wrong.
Location: 1247 East Blvd., Ste. 250. For more information or to register for classes, call 704-372-7665, email [email protected] or visit BeYogaclt.com or Qoya.love/cara-truitt.
