Lake Norman Halloween Spirit Fair in Davidson

Sep 29, 2019 06:56PM ● By Shannon Mc Kenzie

The Kent-Cook Institute at The Nook will present their Lake Norman Halloween Spirit Fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 27 at the Historic Davidson Ice House, in Davidson. Event organizers say that the location is an intimate place of antiquity, an ideal setting for a gathering of the most senior experienced teachers, intuitive readers and healers that grace The Nook with their knowledge, skill and understanding of the precepts of the metaphysical world. This will be an event of mystery and magic, especially as the veils are the thinnest between the planes at Halloween.

Jenny Brulé, owner of and chef at the restaurant, who develops recipes for many magazines including Cooking Light, Shape and Fitness; is the on-air chef for the Carolina’s largest NBC affiliate WCNC; and is a regular on ABC Charleston and The Food Network, is event host and will supervise lunch service. Attendees can order the tasty morsels that the restaurant serves daily. Built in 1922, the Ice House is a six-ton ice facility that served Davidson, Mooresville and Charlotte until the arrival of refrigerators in every home. And, yes, it is haunted!

The event will bring together a beautiful and diverse community, expanding thoughts, insightful and enriching experiences and personal, spiritual evolution.
