Dr. Weil to Speak at Novant Health Symposium

With Dr. Andrew Weil as the keynote speaker, the event is designed for those interested in learning about the benefits of integrative medicine as a part of a cancer treatment plan for patients, family members, caregivers and others. Integrative oncology is a field of cancer care that combines conventional medicine with complementary therapies, such as acupuncture, to improve a person’s health and quality of life.
Weil, known as the “father of integrative medicine,” is a bestselling author and director of the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. He will share insights from his decades of innovative work in nutrition, healthy living and medicine.
