In honor of Earth Day, Natural Awakenings Charlotte, Claudia Josephine Design and Sustain Charlotte are sponsoring a Home Improvement contest for readers using repurposed products (at least 50% of the project needs to consist of repurposed products). Items that have been collected from second-hand and thrift stores, neighbors and from your own garage, basement or closets can be put to good use in completing a home project now. The submission deadline is extended to August 31. By August 31, please email [email protected] the "before" (if no "before" picture, no problem - please enter with just the "after") and "after" images and a description of the repurposed materials that made up at least 50% of the overall project and where those materials came from. Winners will be contacted directly and announced on our website.
The grand price is a Virtual Interior Paint Color Consultation valued at $225 complements of Claudia Josephine Design.
Open to all residents in Charlotte and the Greater Charlotte area, the deadline to submit photos is August 31.
