Now celebrating 15 years of service as a premier spa, boutique, crystal center and center for spiritual awakening, Ahlara International, in Mooresville, has added the talents of Lorraine Meyer to their spiritual offerings. She is a guided meditation master and a vibrational sound healer who began her studies in India with Tibetan bowls. Ahlara now offers a variety of singing bowls and presents this modality every other Thursday and Friday, including January 8, 14, 22 and 28. 

Ahlara also presents monthly classes that complement both singing bowl and crystal therapy, including Breathwork with Kimberly Clarke and Sound Healing with Ed Carlton. In addition, special events such as Ahlara’s Mind, Body, Spirit Expo offer 15-minute sessions with the finest holistic healers and intuitive readers for individual fees. The next event will be held from noon to 4 p.m., January 9.

Celebrate the Light takes place on January 24 with three local shamans, Laura McFern, PE Calvert and Salem Wolf Heart. This class, an exercise in self-care, will help cleanse auras, invigorate esoteric energy fields and revitalize life forces. Private sessions are available.
