Erin Hostetler, Owner/Farmer, The Patio Farmer, is offering an exciting new service called Plant Club. It is a monthly subscription where members grow a specialty, curated crop with the help of The Patio Farmer. In June, plant club members will grow heirloom peanuts in containers at home.

“Have you ever seen a peanut plant grow? Are you intrigued now? June is the perfect time to seed peanuts for a late summer or early fall harvest,” says Hostetler. “Take the guesswork out by joining a group of fellow peanut growers around the Charlotte area!”

Members of the plant club receive a grow kit for a carefully chosen specialty crop the first week of each month that includes a container, soil, plant or seed and a tool. Members also receive weekly newsletters with information on how to grow that month’s plant plus guest content from Plant Club Partners - Nourish Charlotte (plant-based meal delivery), Ekologicall (zero-waste lifestyle products) and Verde Tribe (houseplants). Virtual, hour-long plant chats and a private Facebook group provides additional support and forums for discussion.
