Consider staging a variety of events at the HeartLight Wedding and Event Center. Located in a lovely natural setting near Charlotte’s University City area, the facility offers two event spaces: the newly renovated, 110-year-old Light House with original hardwood flooring, prep kitchen, indoor and outdoor seating with a view that seats 50; and the Sanctuary that has full audio-visual capabilities and can host up to 75 people in theatre-style seating.

At 650 square feet, the Light House is highly suitable for hosting intimate gatherings, meetings and training class sessions or creating memorable celebrations. The Sanctuary, a 1000-square-feet room, is ideal for weddings, workshops, community association meetings, family events, and more. 

The center is surrounded by lush greenery, foliage and flower gardens, creating a natural and colorful setting. The two buildings are connected with a covered ramp that also extends to a handicap parking area. 

The Center, a non-denominational, inclusive community where everyone is welcome, was created to be a service to the community by fulfilling a need for intimate, affordable space to host life’s memorable events.
