Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control(ACC) wants the community to know that they continue to have capacity issues for dogs as do many other shelters across the country. To add to this challenge, ACC is also undergoing compliance renovations in many areas, including the dog kennels. Therefore, while the renovation is going on, large sections of their kennels will not be available to use, thus creating even less available space for animals. 

The community can help and be part of the solution to save the lives of animals in our area by adopting, signing up to be a long-term dog foster, volunteering and donating.
