A Hunters’ Adventure Footcare, a dedicated social enterprise known for its specialized toe clipping services for the elderly, disabled and housebound in the Charlotte area, is partnering with Doris O Praise Ministry, a charitable organization focused on helping schoolchildren learn wealth transference through various outreach programs, for the launch of Socktoberfest. Socktoberfest is an annual nationwide initiative that provides clean and warm footwear to the homeless and disadvantaged members of our communities. A Hunters’ Adventure Footcare enriches lives by empowering individuals, promoting cleanliness and uplifting spirits while maintaining the dignity of men, women and children within the community.

Marantha Sanders, owner and footcare specialist at A Hunters’ Adventure Footcare, says, “Our mission has always been to provide care and support to those in need, and Socktoberfest is a perfect extension of that mission. We invite everyone to join us in this effort to make a tangible difference in the lives of the homeless and disadvantaged.”

The Socktoberfest drive welcomes community members, organizations and businesses to donate new socks and new or gently used shoes which will be collected and distributed to those in need in the U.S. and Africa.
