Someone once said "If you do what you love you never work a day in your life." I believe this is very true for my life. I do not feel I am simply a hair stylist, but often a sculptor with my shears, or a painter with my brushes. Tailoring each canvas with an individuals cowlick, or creating that perfect shade of caramel. Every day in the salon I am working in my studio with a fresh challenge. I appreciate each client for making that possible for me, and offer the best possible salon experience in return. Natural and organic lifestyle has always beed a passion of mine, however I found that part of the hair industry seemed to be lacking. During my time spent working in traditional salons and throughout my training, I could feel the effects of the highly toxic chemicals that were being used. I often was nauseous and sometimes dizzy after performing a simple color service. I knew there had to be another way, so I researched and dedicated myself to finding a better alternative. In 2012, I opened Organic Salon LKN with the intention of bringing that healthy alternative to my community. With so many people choosing to understand the importance of living a healthier, greener lifestyle, I am happy to offer natural services with beautiful results. My salon is located in Downtown Mooresville, in the Historic Mill Village. Come visit and take a moment to enjoy nature in the sitting area on our quaint front porch, or come chat inside in our cozy waiting area. I'll pour you a cup of tea from our tea bar, and we will discuss goals for your hair. Your service will be done with only the best organic hair color and styling products, paired with my expertise in color, sculpture, and styling. I moved to this location July of this year, and am happy to provide such a cozy and welcoming environment for my customers. Amenities include plenty of free parking, free Wi-Fi, a public restroom, a complimentary tea bar, and more.
