Monroe Road Park

Monroe Road Park is located at 5715 Monroe Road in East Charlotte, NC. We are partnering with Mecklenburg County LUESA – Solid Waste on a new Recycling Center that will be included in the park development. The future 12.2 acre park may include a playground, picnic shelter with grill, fitness equipment, a play meadow, walking trails and other amenities typically found in neighborhood parks. This new park has been funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Over the coming months, Mecklenburg Park and Rec staff will work with residents in the community to envision the design for this park. After visioning and design is complete, park development will be completed and the new park will be open to the community. Mecklenburg County needs your help to design your new park!
