Deepak Chopra, M.D., the popular, influential American author, public speaker, alternative medicine advocate and prominent figure in the New Age movement, will discuss his inspiring beliefs and his new book, The Healing Self, at 7:30 p.m. on March 19, at the Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts, in Charlotte. Through his books and videos, he has become one of the best-known figures in alternative medicine.

Chopra will explore some of the most important and baffling questions we all face such as how does our understanding of consciousness also enhance our capacity for total well-being (physical, emotional, spiritual, social, community, financial and ecological). He will address these various questions and provide practical ways to experience higher consciousness, transformation and healing.
