Central Piedmont Community College will present Dances of India, featuring internationally acclaimed performer and choreographer Dr. Maha Gingrich and her group, starting at 4 p.m. on April 21 at the Dale F. Halton Theater in the campus’s Overcash Center.

Celebrating the history and culture of India, the 16^th annual event will be highlighted by a large ensemble of dancers showcasing the 3,000-year-old classical and folk dances of the country.

The show’s signature dance, Unity in Diversity, will feature several international dance styles set to live music.
