I am so excited to announce Compass Integrative Health Center, a non-profit we have launched to ultimately build a new type of hospital that approaches illness with compassion using both traditional and integrative treatments to improve overall health. We believe integrative therapies are also something patients want and will benefit from in the hospital setting. Chinese medicine is often used in operating rooms in Asian countries with great success, minimizing the need for pain medications and anesthesia for instance.  

Compass Integrative Health Center will provide services such as telemedicine, urgent care, inpatient and outpatient care, birthing center, physical rehab, biohacking lab, medical research center, spiritual center and greenhouse/garden. Along with traditional medicine, the center will use complementary therapies such as nutrition, acupuncture, chiropractic, sound healing, aromatherapy, craniosacral, light therapy, energy and spiritual medicine to treat patients. Our goal is a wellness hospital that is based on a new approach to healthcare that encompasses every possible support to heal. This involves emotional support by the hospital staff, that loved ones are supported and allowed to give support, spiritual support for all faiths and the best in Western and complementary medicine, in a way that is mutually agreed upon. To grow this model, we will have a research arm to study the different modalities and create blueprints so this can spread across the country and revolutionize what “HEALTH” care really should be.
