Lea Casanova, owner of Organic Salon LKN, will lead an open house at her facility in Mooresville from 2 to 5 p.m. on January 15. She’ll meet attendees and speak about the many holistic-centered beauty services offered and products utilized at her salon which include brands Oway organic hair products, BeautyCounter clean skin and cosmetic products and Scout and Cellar clean-crafted wine. 

“I don’t feel I am simply a hair stylist, but often a sculptor with my shears, or a painter with my brushes. Every day I am working with a fresh challenge. I appreciate each client for making that possible for me and offer the best possible salon experience in return.”

“Natural and organic lifestyle has always been a passion of mine; however, I found that part of the hair industry seemed to be lacking. [While] working in traditional salons and throughout my training, I could feel the effects of the highly toxic chemicals that were being used. I often was nauseous and sometimes dizzy after performing a simple color service. I knew there had to be another way, so I researched and dedicated myself to finding a better alternative.
