Board-certified family medicine physician Dr. Melissa H. Ratliff, owner and CEO of Ratliff Integrative Family Medicine, which opened last May in Waxhaw, North Carolina, will present a free webinar on navigating health care at 7 p.m. on October 19. Those who register but cannot attend on October 19 will receive a link to the recording after the event. As most employer-based insurance companies host open enrollments in November for 2024, session attendees will learn beforehand about many other options that can save money on insurance costs and healthcare expenses. 

Information will be provided on ways to lessen costs by not paying into large insurance company plans, what type of coverage may be best for individuals, how small businesses can offer health care to employees without using insurance companies and more.
