Think Healing To Maintain the Heart
Jan 31, 2024 09:31AM ● By Betty Marlin, RN, MSN, SANEWe are as healthy as we think we are in our heart. Proverbs 17:22 says “A merry heart does good like medicine.” Proverbs 27:9 states “Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart, so does the sweetness of a man’s friend by hearty counsel.”
To get hearty, holistic counsel to promote a healthy heart, consult a clinical nurse specialist educated on a master’s or beyond level to conduct physical exams, treat acute and chronic illness and provide routine nursing care. First contact primary care involves assessing the client from head-to-toe, checking to see if the blood vessels are equal in the neck, arms, thighs, legs and feet, and pupils are equal, whether the extremities are pink, not hot, red or swollen, and strength is equal on both sides. There should be no extra noise in the heart or lungs. These are a few suggestions to obtain and maintain a healthy heart daily:
1. Detox Drink: 10 percent of body weight (spring water, juices and herbal teas—especially ginger); in the morning, before taking medications or eating breakfast, follow Dr. Karach’s oil-pull/swish between teeth with one ounce of organic sunflower, sesame or peanut oil for 15 to 20 minutes and spit in trash. Do not swallow, gag or gargle oil; brush teeth, gums and tongue; rinse mouth with warm water and spit. Repeat until mucus is not white as when began.
2. Sleep eight to 10 hours daily and stay in bed until the body feels refreshed.
3. Do spinal exercises (watch TV21 Wellness, Wholeness, Holiness each Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. for examples).
4. Take a stress test and a personal balance test to identify and eliminate stressors.
5. Serve/love others at least one hour per day.
6. Worship, praise and thank God continuously.
7. Use natural sweeteners, herbs, oils, fruits, vegetable, pest and weed control, hair products, deodorants, etc.
8. Decrease one cigarette or vape per day until stop completely.
9. Decrease hostility, bitterness and unforgiveness.
10. Decrease showers and increase mineral and sea salt baths for 15 to 20 minutes. Inhale five seconds until the stomach is at the top of the bath water, exhale five seconds until the back touches the bottom of the bathtub. Don’t submerge the ears in water (to prevent ear infection).
