For the holidays, Sustain Charlotte and OrthoCarolina present #WALKCLT, a free collection of walking tours around the city with curated playlists all during December. Participants can leave their car behind and see Charlotte from a new perspective. The first two walks kick off on December 1 with the addition of one per week. Locations include NoDa, Uptown, West End, the U.S. National Whitewater Center and Wesley Heights.

With families staying closer to home this holiday season, our normal activities may be constrained, and people are seeking things to do with family and friends. Walking and exploring all that Charlotte has to offer is a great and different way to celebrate time together while fortifying the health and well-being of our bodies, minds and relationships.

This is the end-of-the-year fundraising event for Sustain Charlotte, so donations will enable them to advocate for more green spaces, more walking and biking paths, more public transportation and safer streets.
